Beachcombers Middle School Program
Beachcombers offers a grade 5 to 7 program, the Orcas Class, that includes quality academics, coastal science, and an enriched program.
As part of the Orcas' coastal studies program, students take part in fieldtrips. Fieldtrips develop in students a sense of community, promote personal growth and self-confidence, and are an opportunity for enriched experiential learning.
Each year, students participate in one multi-day or overnight field trip to locations such as Strathcona Outdoor Education Centre, Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre, or share other similar experiences. This annual trip is an integral part of the program; while it is optional, all middle school students are encouraged to participate.
